What you can do

Braintree, wired into your pipeline.

  1. 01

Bookings and store orders through Braintree

When a booking or a store order needs payment, the payer types their card into Braintree's own card fields on the CRM's pay page, and Braintree charges it.

  2. 02

    Recorded when it is charged

The payment is recorded the moment Braintree charges the card, so there are no payment notices to set up.

  3. 03

    The right merchant account

Each Braintree merchant account takes one currency. A currency your account cannot take is caught before the payer types a card.

How it works

Connected in three steps.

  1. Step 01

    Add your Braintree keys

Settings → Integrations → Payments → Braintree → Set up: the Merchant ID, Public Key and Private Key from your Braintree Control Panel, a merchant account if you use more than one, and the environment, sandbox or production. The Private Key is encrypted when saved and not shown again.

  2. Step 02

    Make it the default

Paid bookings and store orders open your default processor. With more than one switched on, choose Make default on Braintree's card.

  3. Step 03

Price bookings, or name it on products

Give a booking type a price, with a deposit as a percentage or a set amount if you want one. In the store, a product's Payment Processor can name Braintree, and the checkout says which processor is paying.

Under the hood

Built to be left alone.

  1. Your keys, encrypted

Secrets are encrypted when saved and never shown again. Change credentials on Braintree's card replaces them.

  2. Charged once

Each booking or order is charged once: if the answer to the card page is lost, the CRM finds the charge already made instead of charging again.

  3. Disconnect any time

Disconnecting removes the saved keys, and bookings and store orders stop opening Braintree. Payments already taken are not touched.

FAQ

Braintree and AutomateNexus CRM, answered.

With the Merchant ID, Public Key and Private Key from your Braintree Control Panel, saved under Settings → Integrations → Payments → Braintree (the same card is under Finance → Payment Processors). Choose sandbox to try a booking with Braintree's test cards first.

Paid bookings (the full price or a deposit, with tax when you set a rate) and store orders. Invoices and payment forms are paid through Stripe, which you can connect alongside Braintree.

Your refund setting decides: a full refund, half, none, or you decide each time. With a full or half refund set, the CRM tells you the amount for a Braintree payment, and you refund it in Braintree.
