FAQ

Before you buy.

Yes. The CRM core will be published under the AGPL-3.0 licence by December 31, 2026: anyone can read it, run it on their own servers and change it. White-label and the AI agents are in it. The paid features (the premium AI agents, single sign-on, the audit log and reselling) are under a commercial licence, which is what this presale sells. It is the same open-core model Twenty and Cal.com use.

The hosted plan of the same shape, at once: Founding Member (unlimited users) with Founding Self-Hosted, Founding Member Agency with Founding Self-Hosted Agency. You can run your business on it from today until your self-hosted copy ships, then move your workspace across.

The self-hosted release ships by December 31, 2026. Your hosted plan works from the day you buy, so you are never waiting to use what you paid for.

Each licence includes 5 years of updates from the day it is issued. After that it keeps working, for good, on the last version released in those 5 years; newer versions are an optional renewal at $199 a year (Self-Hosted) or $499 a year (Self-Hosted Agency), and founders keep that price for as long as they renew. Security fixes for the version you run stay free.

Self-hosted licences are non-refundable. The hosted plan you get at once is yours to try from the first day, so you can see exactly what you are buying.

Reseller rights, and nothing else. Both are every paid feature on your own servers, with the same updates, support and install terms. Founding Self-Hosted Agency adds the right to run AutomateNexus CRM for your own clients as their own organizations, on your own plans and prices.

You can, and we hope many people do: it includes white-label and Karrie with all 8 AI agents. The founding licences add the paid features (the premium AI agents, single sign-on, custom roles and the audit log), reseller rights on the agency licence, 5 years of updates, priority support, and the hosted plan while you wait.

One licence covers one production install, plus one staging or test copy. Moving to a new server is fine: deactivate the old one and activate the new one, or ask us and we'll move it. Each licence is tied to its buyer, so it can't be shared or resold. An agency running clients on separate servers needs a licence for each production install.

A server or cloud account you control, and keys for the services you want to use: email, payments, phone and AI. The release comes with an install guide; the founding licences include 12 months of priority help with it.

The founding member deal (from $97) is the hosted platform for life, run by us. These licences are for running it on your own servers, with the hosted plan included until your copy ships.
